A 60 year old guest was reported missing Tuesday in a fire that destroyed the 100-room cabin hotel here. All others of the hotel's thirty-five guests were accounted for. Lavern Nelson, fire department chief, said no search for the missing man, Merle E. Sweet, 60 year old Strawberry Park rancher, would be possible for several hours. Discovered by C.P. Homer, the hotel's manager, at 11 a.m., the fire had completely enveloped the resort structure thirty-five minutes later. Homer who ran down the second floor corridor pounding an alarm at the room doors, said ten guests responded to his calls and escaped. Two women were aided in their flight over a porch roof by firemen.
