The Steamboat Springs Fire Department will promote life safety and reduce human suffering and property loss through public education and fire prevention programs. We will mitigate the consequences of fire, accident, sudden illness or disaster in our community by providing a high level of fire and emergency medical services. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, endeavor to efficiently employ all required resources to provide a service deemed excellent by the community of Steamboat Springs and its visitors. Reaching for the future, never forgetting the past.
