A Type I ambulance was delivered to Steamboat Springs, CO by Ray Watkins of Wheeled Coach. The ambulance is a result of a matching grant (50/50) from the State of Colorado.

The ambulance is a 2002 Ford F350 turbo diesel, 4 wheel drive. The production of the box was done by Wheeled Coach, built in Kansas City. The exterior lettering was done by Randy Young of Aspen Graphics in Loveland.
